"This one is not animated." Cornelius explains.
(Did we close the door?)

The gnome steps onto the large trap door, holding a large wooden mallet resting accross his shoulder and points at the corpse on the floor.
"You imbecils brought one of them into my laboratory! Have you any idea the risk you are bringing on all of us!" He begins rushing forward, mallet raised into the air. "Quick, get it before it gets up!"

"He is not from the swamp!" Cornelius quickly blurts out holding his hands out in a stop signal.

"This corpse has never been animated by undeath."

Torin places himself between the gnome and the corpse.
"Explain what is going on. If time is short, explain quickly."

The gnome stops in its tracks, "What? Who are you? Why are you in my tower?" He seems to have forgotten about the corpse... for now.  He gives his mallet a quizzical look and sets it onto the floor.
