What goes well with Vampire?
« on: June 06, 2017, 10:00:24 AM »
Salvete my fellow roleplayers! I recently just started looking back in to Legend and I just realized that I've never seen the Vampire track in action. I wanted to try at least making a build for a Vampire but again, never seen it in action. It look like it could be a good frontliner thanks to self healing like Bloodlust and Child of Shadows but I'm not seeing any big synergies right away. Beyond Smiting for Charisma exploitation of course. What've y'all done with Vampire?

Path of destruction for aoe melee would grant a good return early. Perhaps you are better off using it as a 4th track.
Basically you add it to any melee template to gain some regeneration, immunities and a few oddball combat abilities.

I made a Diablo 2 assassin with the following layout
Professional Soldier (Traps)
Iron Magi and Swash buckler (Martial Arts)
Vampire (Shadow Arts)

Thanks for the tip Desocupado. Sorry it took forever to notice it. And yeah, it sorta makes sense to treat it as a semi-defensive 4th Track. I've actually been experimenting with a build very similar to your Assassin build, but with Esoterica Radica instead of Professional Soldier
