Two questions about rules
« on: October 10, 2014, 02:25:25 AM »
Hi, there. I'm new to these forums, and as I recently discovered Legend, and plan to convert current campaigns to the system, I wanted to ask two questions for clarification.

First, Precision damage. Perhaps it's listed elsewhere, but the description of precision damage in the damage type section is a little... Vague. It only seems to indicate what it is, not what it does. I would assume this special damage type would have something like 'ignores DR' or something of the sort, but perhaps I'm wrong? Is it just damage that's added on to your normal damage?

edit: Perhaps I should actually check that the pdf I'm using is the most current one. Deeply sorry. Precision still confounds me, though.

The only properties it has are:
1) You can't use it while gaining any fury bonuses, and
2) You can only gain 1 source of precision damage at a time.

Other than that, it is just damage that's added on to your normal damage.

chaos_redefined has it right. The only thing special about precision damage is its restrictions on stacking with other things.
