Typo Reports
« on: March 03, 2012, 04:15:13 PM »
An ongoing venue for reporting any minor editing that still needs to be done in order to perfect the Legend rules.

I'll start it off with the fact that "Good Save" progressions are still different in different classes' tables.  For example, look at Level 15 of the Rogue table -- it says +12 for Reflex saves, but +11 fr the other Good Save.

Stickied.

Make sure to give page numbers when identifying typos; they may help in getting concerns addressed.

A pretty obvious one, but....

The first part of the Magic section (pg. 136) actually shows up at the end of the Social Encounters section (pg. 135).
Sincerely,

First-level characters' ability scores are generated with 26 point buy, but the elite array adds up to 28 (pages 14, 17, and 18).

Unhappy juice grants "an additional four points" of Strength to characters already possessing the Rage track, but Rage itself doesn't grant a Strength bonus anymore (page 181).

I believe this one was deliberate, due to the flexibility provided by point buy over array. I could be wrong, though.

Since the array used to add up to 26 until they changed it, I assumed that they had just forgotten to upgrade the point buy with it.

On page 108 the Blood Thirst feat applies the [Grappled] condition, but there is no [Grappled] condition.

Not a bug. Grapple rules are going through their last couple review passes.

In the benefit section of the feat "The Left Hand of Death", this sentence:

Quote
As a move action, you may put up an aura that causes healing effects that occur within 15 ft of you are delayed by one [Round].

Should have brackets around healing.

I've noticed inconsistencies in the capitalization of "level" in the feat prerequisites.  In "Weaponized" it's a capital L.  In "You Will Falter" it's a lower case l.

According to Flickerdart, the second word of [Bracketed terms] should not be capitalized.  The following terms appear at least once with the second word capitalized.

[Ghostwise Sight] - Pages 100
[HP Reduction] - Page 61, 99, 100, 101, 104, 117, 120, 122 (also has [HP reduction]),

On page 177, [HP reduction] is not in [Brackets].

On page 81, Ghostwise sight is not in [Brackets] for the undead racial ability.  There are also inconsistencies with bracketing and spelling on Ghostwise sight on page 116.

This isn't a typo, so much as an inconsistency.

Throughout the core PDF, all feats except [Iconic] feats have a "prerequisites" section.  [Iconic] feats have a "requirements" section.

In the New-Feats-1.pdf, the "Did The Math" [Iconic] feat has a "prerequisites" section like the non-[Iconic] feats in the core PDF.

Should all [Iconic] feats have "requirements" instead of "prerequisites", or should all feats have "prerequisites", regardless of their descriptors?

The feats "Something Of A Traditionalist" and "A Hell Of A Thing" should have the O in "Of" changed to lower-case.

Further proofreading/nitpicking:

The structure of feat blocks alternates between two different formats:

Structure A is feat name, unmarked description, prerequisites, benefit, special.

Structure B is feat name, requirements or prerequisites, marked description, benefit.

Based on the two New Feats PDFs, it appears that Structure A is the blessed format.

Feats using Structure B include "Strike Down [Iconic]" (pg 101), "Something Of A Traditionalist [Iconic]" (pg 101), and "A Hell Of A  Thing [Combat]" (pg 101).
