Speaking of which is homebrew content for legends allowed?

i.e. are we encouraged to fiddle with the system?
There is an entire board for  it

Also note that material you DL is in Beta, so not everything is as balanced as it should be. The full release (1.0) should be soon, though that's a relative word...

My Homebrew

My friend just shared this: "Remember that time Gandalf convinced the whole party to flee so that he could take out the Balrog and not have to share any of the XP? Shows up the next session with fancy new robes and everything. What a jerk."

Funny how we didn't consider people coming to the forums without having heard about the game first. We might have put a link to main site on here as a result. XD

On that note, aside from word of mouth, how is this forum supposed to be located? I can't find a link to it from ruleofcool.com.
What? NiteCyper's post is evolving! Link fixed 2016. No progress.

Its not. The forum is also in beta. Word of mouth is supposed to be the only way to find it right now.

LA generally sucks, why not add HD(or equivalent advancement if HD goes away) equal to the LA?  It simplifies the CR system and boosts LA a little bit.

have ran into that one... started using really basic stat blocks only, not full sheets. will check out your mook rules.  ;D
I do recommend going to the IRC to get the latest version of them; they're a lot better than the initial release.
Legend contributions: As Above, So Below (rewrite); Reap the Whirlwind, A Personal Touch, Kept Secret, Kept Safe (Professional Soldier); Combat Alchemist (extra track)

Well for races/monsters with racial hit dice and abilities thats not a problem.  I can make a list of powers for each race and at each level you can choose a racial, class, or universal power.  The problem with that comes with races that have tons of abilities, but not many hit dice.  Sprites for example.  If I do it that way for them the average grig ends up having 6 hit dice to get the same abilities it has at less than 1 HD now.

ok possible time for an example of class powers (in this case Maneuvers, which will be used by most martial classes):

Trip
Level 1
Type Attack
Prerequisite None
Action Standard
Range Melee
Target 1 Opponent
Duration Instantaneous
Saving Throw None

Types of Maneuvers would be Attacks, Counters, and Buffs (Stances will be folded into buffs).
Prerequisites are things like need to know another maneuver, components, skill ranks, etc.  They range from None on the low end to 2 on the high end.  Action is the type of Action required to use it and ranges from Swift to Full.  Range is Melee, Ranged (Short), and Area of Effect (Small).  Range and Area of Effect can be increased via updates.  Target is either Self, Opponent, Ally, Self or Ally, or Multiple Allies/Opponents.  Duration is Instantaneous, 1 round or multiple rounds.  Saving Throw is None, Save for Partial, Save to Negate.  Spell Resistance will now be done differently: you get multiple save rolls and take the better of the two.  Spells and other powers will follow a format similar to this.

Hah, nope, it's an evil Dragoon from Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis (called a Predator in that game).
Legend contributions: As Above, So Below (rewrite); Reap the Whirlwind, A Personal Touch, Kept Secret, Kept Safe (Professional Soldier); Combat Alchemist (extra track)

Someone made a 3.5 Realmz conversion? I LOVE REALMZ! Where where where where where where???

I use the Realmz name for all my RPG-based projects, as an homage to the game that started my love for RPGs. Since the 3.5 rewrite is abandoned, I wouldn't mind turning the Realmz D20 project into an actual game though. You sound interested.

SO under the potential classes above (some of which need a better name admittedly) what would everyone like to see added/removed?

-Locksmith. Traps and locks are situational stuff in which everybody else would just stand watching.
-Smuggler. Buying and selling stuff is something everybody should do. Also I just can't picture any use for this one in combat.
-Stalker. Too specialized. What do you do when your favored enemy isn't present?
-Guerilla. Also too specialized. What do you do when in other terrain?
-Musketeer. If there's guns, they should be useable by everybody, or at least by the other warrior dudes. Tricks that apply to other ranged weapons also apply to guns, there.
-Changeling. Cute, but what exactly do you do just by looking like others? Transmogrifist already takes care of the transformation department.
-Gladiator. Every class should know how to show off and have a couplemore exotic options for weapons.

Saboteur and grenadier seem redudant between each other.

Stalker was intended to have something similar to favored enemy.  In short sort of a broad class like animals as opposed to just sharks.

The Changeling is more for rp than combat campaigns.  You are a wizard/rogue who uses illusion and transmutation to appear as whatever you need to to infiltrate places, make your escapes, or impersonate whomever you need to.  You also have more in the way of skills.  The Transmogrifist is more od a Madame Mim type: You can polymorph into other creatures of the same CR.

Suggestions for replacements?  I wanted to try to keep the same amount of options for each class.
